Every trail is different and even sometimes the same trail that I have already done, holds a different tale when I return back to it. Getting to go explore solo and with a group each hike always holds something different.

January 2026 - Sturtevant Falls
Our First Official Group Hike was taken place on 1/24/2026. Where the wake up call was early to meet at the trailhead in arcadia by 6:00am. We had a group of 17 (missing two in picture), stayed together and work together on our 1.8mile trip to reach the waterfall at the end of the trail. Getting to enjoy about 45min at the waterfall to rest, eat and take our pictures while regaining our energy for our journey back to the car. When everyone was ready we made our way back to the car and had to take the 1.8miles hike back with slight incline spots. Working together and helping eachother stay motivated while enjoying the views and reaching our finish line. Getting a chance to mingle with everyone and just overall enjoying a beautiful Saturday out in the forest with a great group of people.
